What We Do
What To Expect When We
Live Stream a Service
Togetherness
We will be on site of the funeral, streaming the service. We put the stream up on our website for viewing. If you have family or friends who are unable to attend the service, they can still
participate in the service by watching the live stream.
Independence
From the power source to the audio feed we work independently. No need to worry about accommodating us! We send out one
experienced videographer to capture the
moment. We have the ability to go mobile to capture every scene of the service, no matter where it is.
Services
From Celebrations of Life to Graveside services we can stream it all. Because of our
independent set up, it allows us to work with a variety of services. We want to be able to
capture everything for those who can’t attend, giving them the experience of being present and sharing the moment.
Internet Link
We provide a link to view the service to the families for
sharing ability to those who are going to be viewing the service.
After the Service
For most funeral homes, we keep services up on our website indefinitely. Unless you would like us to remove it for any reason. We also
provide a download guide on our website
clearly outlining how to download a service onto your computer for both Mac and PC for free.
Possible Concerns
If there are copyright songs in your funeral service, it can affect the archiving of the service (not the live stream).
To live stream, we effectively manage dependencies with Rogers, Telus, Vimeo and YouTube along with our professional equipment. Even though the risk is slight, there remains the possibility the live stream will stop. As a backup, we record each service and will upload it after; usually available for viewing within 6 hours.
With the Wireless systems we work with, it can occasionally get interference from other wireless systems. We take steps before the service to avoid this. If interference happens during the service, there is little we can do.
We have live streamed services at almost every cemetery in the Fraser Valley and been successful in connecting to a cell tower. Many cemeteries are in isolated locations with power lines running overhead. If in the event we can not connect to a cell tower, as a backup, we record each service and will upload it after; usually available for viewing within 6 hours.
Though we keep previous services on our website indefinitely, we cannot guarantee that it will remain on our website forever; therefore we highly suggest you download the service to your own computer for yourself and your family to keep.
We are not responsible for the service video file on YouTube. We have yet to see them delete a file or lose a file but there is always that possibility. Feel free to download the service file here.
